UNDERSTAND THE PRODUCTIVITY OF AGRICULTURAL LAND

Ever wonder if you could automatically know the relative yield of agricultural land?

Understanding the actual and potential productivity of any rural asset or agricultural land – how that property is expected to perform or return, including in comparison with any other properties regionally – has never been more important.

Yet traditionally, the value of agricultural land is determined without reliable or accurate knowledge of the actual or potential productivity available.

Until now.

The DAS Rural Intelligence Platform™ synthesises the most pertinent productivity features of agricultural land with location, all within the context of recognizable maps – automatically and at scale.

Insights on crop, pasture production and yield gap for the past ten to 15 years have been embedded with location – allowing users to identify, visualise and compare productivity for any piece of rural land in Australia, from anywhere in the world.

The platform is reminiscent of Google Maps. Next to every rural property you can see data about that property – for instance, how many tonnes of wheat per hectare the land is producing – or how much wheat the land could grow.

In many ways, it’s like having the insights of some of the world’s best agricultural scientists at your fingertips – all in one single, subscription-based software source.

The depth, quality and rigor of the data DAS is integrating into the platform has the potential to be a game-changer. So far, we have actual and predictive productivity; actual rainfall; as well as automatic assessments for measurement units like dry sheep equivalent (DSE) that determine carrying capacity, for an estimated x acres across Australia.

But we’re just getting started. Before too long, the DAS Rural Intelligence Platform™ will have the ability to factor in actual production on a regular basis for wheat, as well as predictive analytics for other crops, not just wheat.
